The purpose of the First International Workshop on Big Data &Software Engineering and their Applications in Smart Cities, BSASC'19, is to provide a platform for researchers, engineers, academics as well as industrial professionals from all over the world to present their research results and development activities in using model driven engineering techniques for Software Development, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning (resp. Deep Learning), Big Data, Hadoop applications, Data Architecture, Modeling, Fractals and Smart cities...
The International Workshop on Big Data & Software engineering and their applications in Smart Cities (BSASC'19) will be included with the First International Conference on Smart Information and Communication Technologies (SmartICT’19) and will be held at Be Live Collection Hotel in the wonderful Moroccan “Blue pearl” city of Saïdia, from 26 to 28 September 2019.
All presented papers (respecting LNEE authors instructions) will be included in the SmartICT’19 conference proceedings published by Springer's LNEE.

Submission Guidelines and Publications
Prospective authors are invited to submit papers to the workshop in any of the areas of interest. Submitted papers must be written in English. The paper should not exceed 8 pages in length, including all figures, tables, and references, using the template. However, authors can add up to 2 extra pages with the appropriate fee payment (total MAX. 10 pages). All submissions should follow the instructions of the template. Papers should be original and not previously submitted to other Conferences or Journals. All submissions will be reviewed on the basis of relevance, originality, importance and clarity following a double-blind peer review process. One of the authors of an accepted submission must attend the conference and present their work (in the form of either oral or poster presentation) as a condition of publication.
